Kent Ridge (706 m elev. gain)

Kona (12 yrs) approaching one of the false summits at end of May, 7:45am, +10C to avoid the expected +30C daytime temperature. No snow on entire trail.

Kona hearing voices on the chain traverse; group of ascending hikers behind, late May most of snow gone.

Wendell and Wendell East peaks across CMC valley to north; hiked the “West Col” dog route, not the normal scramble route with the chain traverse. 10am on summit to beat the heat.
