Horton Hill (400 m elev. gain)

View from cairn on Horton Hill toward Mt. Baldy in early May.

On the way back cleared the trail of over a dozen recent wind-fallen trees.

Batteries died, so had to return a few days later to finish off a few more trail blockers.

Horton Hill and Ridge (600 m elev. gain)

Kona and Friend on Horton Ridge

Found a viewpoint between the trees and deadfall on Horton Ridge just past Horton Hill in early May. View up Lusk Creek valley with significant snow load still on peaks.
