Kona at high point of hike up Grotto Mountain. Main summit in distance at far left. Didn’t meet anyone else on this route although parking lots at other trailheads were overflowing with vehicles on a Sunday during Covid.

View along Wasootch Ridge to starting point about 5 km away. Mount Lorette and the Lorette-Skogan-McGillivray traverse across the Kananaskis River valley behind. Wasootch Peak at left. Early December just before a snowy and colder weather system is arriving.
